Blastomyces Tests
Blastomycosis is a systemic mycotic infection caused by the dimorphic fungi Blastomyces spp, and it is common in certain parts of the eastern United States and Canada. MiraVista Veterinary Diagnostics developed the first antigen test for blastomycosis and has actively participated in research and publications to improve Blastomyces diagnostics. In addition to the antigen test, a canine IgG antibody EIA test is also now available.
